A Dutchess County man allegedly driving over two times the legal limit of intoxicated was charged after crashing his car.

New York State Police from Poughkeepsie were dispatched by Dutchess County 911 to a one-car collision that occurred on Bangall Road in the Town of Washington. Following an investigation conducted by the arresting officer, it was discovered that the driver, 27-year-old Mario A. Ba Xol, of Dover was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

Police say Ba Xol provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .19%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication. He was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.

Ba Xol was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear in the Town of Washington Court at a later date.
