Parker Lundgren joined Queensryche in 2009 as a replacement for guitarist Mike Stone. He appeared on the 2011 Queensryche album Dedicated to Chaos and stayed with the band after the departure of singer Geoff Tate in 2012. The current Queensryche lineup consists of Lundgren along with original Queensryche members guitarist Michael Wilton, bassist Eddie Jackson, and drummer Scott Rockenfield along with lead singer Todd La Torre. The band released the album Queensryche in 2013 and Condition Human in 2015. The band toured with Armored Saint this year. Being a huge Queensryche fan, it took me awhile to embrace the new lineup. Not because I didn't think they were good, but because I never thought I'd see (or ever wanted to see) a Queensryche without Geoff Tate. I finally saw the current lineup live earlier this year in New York and they won me over. Parker Lundgren is a great guitarist and singer Todd La Torre is an incredible vocalist. Edgar Winter is best known for his classic rock hits like “Frankenstein” and “Free Ride” with the Edgar Winter Group. His 1970 debut album Entrance received critical acclaim and his recording of “Tobacco Road” put him in the national spotlight. The 1972 album They Only Come Out at Night is a classic that hit number 3 on the Billboard 200 and spent an impressive 80 weeks on the charts.
