A Cool Event for Comic Book Collectors

Do you collect new and old comic books?  Do you know a collector?  Maybe you just love to read them.  Either way, this is the perfect sale for you.  About 5,000 high grade condition comic books from the late 1970s through the last decade will be on sale Jan. 28 and 30 and Feb. 2 and 4 at the Friends of the Poughkeepsie Library District Book Store, 141 Boardman Road in Poughkeepsie. The store is located in the back of the Boardman Road building.

The comic books were donated by a private collector, and will include issues from Marvel Comics, DC Comics, and independent publishers.  Prices range from $3 to $40-50 or more per pack.   Higher priced packs contain comics that are more desirable to collectors.  There will also be single loose comic books for sale for as low as one dollar.
