There were some very interesting people that joined the Boris & Robyn Show in the studio this year. Some were famous celebrities, others were Hudson Valley residents with interesting stories to tell.

Veronica DiPaul from Burke Catholic had the unique opportunity of meeting The Pope when he came to New York in September. While many people would probably be starstruck, Veronica decided to ask the Pope to take a selfie with her, creating a national sensation.

Chad from Poughkeepsie was selected to be a contestant on this year's season of Masterchef Junior. He was alot of fun to talk to, and was a great sport when we asked him to switch roles and become "Gordon Ramsey" himself, judging our poorly constructed peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Generally, we don't really enjoy interviewing stand-up comedians. Surprisingly, most of them are very difficult to talk to, especially over the phone. One exception is Lisa Lampanelli. She's always up for pretty much anything and is quick to make fun of herself whenever given the chance.

Former Miss Ulster County winner, Jennifer DeLora made national headlines after she demanded an apology from the Miss America Pageant for disqualifying her in the 80's after she appeared topless in a movie. Vanessa Williams got her apology, but DeLora was still left without her crown. So we invited her on our show to try and make things right.

DeLora was a great sport and even returned to the show. hosting our first-annual pet Halloween costume contest. Another local character that we stumbled upon was Hudson Valley Elvis. Robyn was up close and personal with HV Elvis' tight jumpsuit as he helped us celebrate National Fluffernutter day.

In January of this year Kara McConologue was working as a waitress at Buffalo Wild Wings in Wappingers Falls when a customer decided that her service was so incredible that he helped arrange to get her a brand new professional camera, something that would help her budding photography career. It was great to hear her story, and we were happy to be able to give her one more surprise when she came to visit us

When we heard reports that questioned the cleanliness of bearded men, we had to invite back our friends at Health Quest to help us conduct an experiment. Was Meat Sandwich's grizzly beard actually full of bacteria? We went to the lab to find out and they came in to reveal the results live on the air.

Of course, there were many other guests who were kind enough to stop by the Boris & Robyn Show this year. If you want to catch up over our holiday break you can see even more on our official YouTube Channel. And be sure to tune in for even more interesting conversations with celebrities and local characters in 2016.
