A Putnam County woman with a suspended driver's license was charged with DWI and possession of marijuana following a traffic stop.

The Kent, NY was stopped for a traffic infraction by Officer Rivera from the Kent Police Department in Putnam County.

An investigation determined that she was intoxicated at the time of the traffic stop. When the officer conducted a computer check on her driver's license, it revealed that her driving privileges were currently suspended.

She was also found in possession of a quantity of marijuana, according to a press release.

She was charged with DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation third-degree, and Unlawfully Possession of Marijuana.

She was processed and released on her own recognizance. The charges were later dismissed.
