Happy Birthday today (Jan. 12) to Rob Zombie. The shock rocker is 51.

Zombie rose to fame in the early 90’s with his band White Zombie. The band's third album, La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Volume One, was certified multi-platinum in 1993 with the strength of the lead single "Thunder kiss '65". Their final studio album, Astro Creep: 2000 , was released in 1995 and became their first top 10 album on the Billboard 200 featuring the single "More Human than Human". Zombie has since established himself as a solo artist, film director, screenwriter, and producer. He has five solo studio albums under his belt.

2016 will see the release of a new Rob Zombie slasher film called 31. The film will premiere at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival on Jan. 23. A new studio album entitled The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser will be released April 29. For more info on Rob Zombie, check out his official website here.
