Tig’s Metal Box: Q-Ruption With Slipknot and Marilyn Manson Coming to SPAC

This week, we talk about the big Q-Ruption show coming to SPAC on July 24 with Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, and Of Mice and Men. Slipknot was formed out of Des Moines, Iowa in 1995 by Shawn Crahan and Paul Gray. the band went through several lineup changes and eventually settled with nine members that performed together for over a decade. Members included Corey Taylor, Shawn Crahan, Paul Gray, Mick Thomson, Jim Root, Craig Jones, Sid Wilson, Chris Fehn, and Joey Jordison. Paul Gray died in 2010 and Joey Jordison was fired from the band in Dec. 2015. Percussionist Shaen Crahan remains the only founding member in the current lineup.
