Everybody who knows any thing about me knows that I am a big fan of The Band, and every member of The Band.  I have always been particularly fond of Levon Helm.  He was a good friend to the radio station, and always a kind man.  And his talents were just amazing...

On May 26, 1940 a legend was born. On April 19, 2012 we lost a legend.  But the years in between sure were great for the music world..  Those are the years that we had Levon Helm. I have been a fan of The Band for as long as I can remember...

One of the best musical treasures in The Hudson Valley is Levon Helm's Barn and Studios in Woodstock. Even though we lost Levon a few years back, his legacy and music lives on through The Barn.
