A few Hudson Valley businesses are hosting watch parties with food and drink specials while offering views of the Tappan Zee Bridge demolition.

Weather permitting, the Tappan Zee Bridge, which connects Rockland and Westchester counties, will be demolished with explosives on Saturday around 9:30 a.m.

It will take less than 30 seconds for the 6,5000 ton 672-foot east span to reach the Hudson River.

In Rockland County, the Rivertown Taphouse is hosting a breakfast buffet. Omelets, pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs and steak are on the menu, according to a Facebook post.

The Piermont eatery, located on 5 Round House Road, will open at 8:30 a.m. and will also offer mimosas, spiked coffee, Bloody Marys and breakfast shots.

Across the river, in Westchester County, Half Moon is hosting a "Big Bang Brunch."

"Join us for an early brunch and witness the demolition of what remains of the iconic Tappan Zee bridge," the eatery wrote on Facebook.

The Dobbs Ferry restaurant at 1 High Street will serve a la carte brunch menu.

"We are including our most popular brunch dishes including the breakfast burrito, crew's ration, huevos rancheros, classic eggs benedict, and lox eggs benedict. We will also have a selection of sides available including french toast, pork sausage, bacon and home fries," Half Moon wrote on Facebook.

Reservations start at 9 a.m. Saturday and are required at Half Moon.
