On Saturday night, a vehicle drove past Vice President Biden's Delaware home and fired multiple shots, according to the Secret Service.

Luckily, Joe Biden and his wife were out to dinner, but they were schedule to be spending the weekend there.

There were secret service agents posted at the residence, when the incident occurred. According to an agency spokesman, the secret service heard the shots, and observed a vehicle leaving "at a high rate of speed."

While the investigation was going on, a vehicle tried to pass a police officer who was securing the perimeter of the area, and that person was was arrested for resisting arrest, according to officials. It is unknown whether this is the person involved in the shooting.

The Vice President's home is several hundred feet from the road where the shooting took place.
