My Lost Treasure: The Who

We are working on a an alphabet/letter theme here on My Lost Treasure. We're doing a week of songs that begin with the letter A, then a week of Bs, and so on and so on. Kind of like the Letter Game that we play every day on The Boris and Robyn Show. We are on the Ds.

I haven't heard today's lost treasure in ages. Especially on the radio. There was a time long ago that it wouldn't be that unusual to hear this song on WPDH. Those were the days. Today's pick is from The Who's Quadrophenia album. A favorite for many of my friends. And even though I am partial to the Tommy album for sentimental reasons, I love Quadrophenia and I see and hear the genius behind it.
