My Lost Treasure: The Kinks

We are working on a letter theme here on My Lost Treasure. It's like the Letter Game from The Boris and Robyn Show. Only different. We are doing a week for each letter. We did a week of songs that start with the letter A, a week of Bs, and now we're up to the J songs.

This is another one of those songs that reminds me of my friend Dan the Man.  We used to hang out at my very first apartment in Marlboro and listen to The Kinks all the time. It was during those fun days that I really came to be familiar with deeper cuts from The Kinks. Sure, I knew all of the hits, but there is so much more to The Kinks. There was a time that I didn't consider this song a deep cut, but I guess it is by today's standards. And today's lost treasure also goes out to Steve Lindenauer, another big Kinks fan.
