My Lost Treasure: The Foundations

The theme we are working on for My Lost Treasure is up and down.  Today we are going way back to the mid 1960s.  This song is old, but I still love it, I still sing it at the top of my lungs when I am lucky enough to hear it.  It's just a great song.

Growing up in the Hudson Valley in the 60s and 70s meant listening to 77 WABC radio. That could mean hearing a hit song once an hour, or if they did an instant replay, twice in a row.  And if it was a really good song, that was a treat.  I always hoped for an instant replay when this song came on the radio.  I have seen bands perform this decades later, and people still jump onto the dance floor.
