My Lost Treasure: The Eagles

The theme for My Lost Treasure has been transportation for weeks now.  Maybe months.  Our sub heme is automobiles.  And there sure are a lot of songs about cars.

I had already thought about doing today's pick, but I wasn't sure which version I should play.  It's written by Tom Waits, but The Eagles recorded it for their On The Border album.   I've always loved that album and their version.  And when I asked for suggestions it was The Eagles version that everybody asked for.

So...The Eagles it is.  This is a great song, and I'm listening to it for the second time in a row while I write this.  Thanks for the great suggestion, maybe next time around we'll play Tom Waits.
