My Lost Treasure: Steely Dan

It's an alphabet theme on My Lost treasure. We're doing a week of songs that begin with the letter A, then a week of Bs, and so on and so on. Kind of like the Letter Game that we play every day on The Boris and Robyn Show. Today we have a D song from Steely Dan.

This is one of my all time favorite Steely Dan songs. It used to get a lot of airplay on the radio, but I don't hear it too much anymore. The thing about this song is that it doesn't sound like typical Steely Dan. The first few times I heard it, which was many years ago, I didn't even know it was Steely Dan. Do you think that's why I like it so much? Just kidding. I love Steely Dan. I was very sad when Walter Becker passed away, but happy that Donald Fagen is keeping the music and the band alive.
