My Lost Treasure: Rod Stewart

The theme right now on My Lost Treasure is weather related songs.  Today's song comes from one of my all time favorite albums.  A definite desert island disc for me.

I can still remember when I convinced my Dad to buy me the Every Picture Tells A Story album.  He was ordering 8 tracks from The Columbia House.  He thought that Rod Stewart was just flash in the pan.  I knew better.  I remember him asking me if I thought anyone would remember the album in twenty years.  I said yes, and I was right.  It's been well over twenty years, and I still listen to the album and I still love every single song.  Which is why I picked today's song.
