This week on My Lost Treasure the theme is happy, joy, glad, etc.  It’s in honor of The Dutchess County Fair, which is running now through Sunday Aug. 28.  Fair week is always a happy time, and that is why I chose this theme.

We are going way back once again for today's lost treasure.  I have always loved this song, but I had no idea it had its roots with Motown.  Berry Gordy was one of the song's writers, and it was recorded by several Motown artists.  But it was Blood, Sweat, and tears that had the big hit with it.  That's also the version I grew up with, and that's the one we are playing today.

Boris and I will be at the Dutchess County Fair tomorrow, Aug. 27, starting at 11 am raising money for a great charity, Alex’s Lemonade Stand.  It is a charity that helps kids battling cancer.  Boris and I will each be set up at out little lemonade stands competing to raise the most money.  So, if you are coming to the fair, please stop by and make a donation.  See you there.
