For this Halloween weekend I wish I could say we're getting a treat. Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse and Burnt look to be much more like a trick.

Starting off with the zombie themed horror/comedy, Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse follows the unlikely group of three boy scouts and a cocktail waitress who team together to fight against their town's zombie invasion. They have to use their skills learned from the scouts to save the world and of course impress the ladies. Rotten Tomatoes gives this a rating of 21% due to more than one critic calling it 'dumb.' There seems to be lots of crude jokes and zombie head explosions. Unfortunately only a few of jokes are actually good.

For the slightly more handsome movie of the weekend, Burnt stars Bradly Cooper as a chef who once had it all but has since lost it battling his demons. Upon his return to Paris he makes from friends and some enemies when he trying to get back into the restaurant business and create the best restaurant in the world. It's a story about love; love for food and others. With only a rating of 24% on Rotten Tomatoes this is the highest rated option of the week. Critics agree that there is some compelling drama incorporated but there are too many cliches. People expected this to be a better movie then it has turned out to be, some say the story just is not engaging.

Check out the trailers below and as always until next week, we'll MEAT at the movies!
