The movie based on the true story that led to the writing of Moby-Dick. Following not only the battle between the great whale and the crew, 'In the Heart of the Sea' also explores what the crew needs to do to stay alive during the aftermath.

Ron Howard directs this adaption of the Moby-Dick story Chris Hemsworth at the helm (ha!). Most people know the story of the whaling shit that was attacked by an enormus white whale but this story continues into the story of what the crew must do to survive storms, famine and their journey to try and get back home. As the captain tries to get the crew to the safety of the open sea the first-mate has personal vendetta with the whale. With only a Rotten Tomatoes rating of only 60%, this is not rated as well as Howard would have hoped or expected. Critics are saying that the movie is exciting and everything looks great but sometimes it becomes a bit unbelievable.Tom Huddleston from Time Out explains that there are a few things that are a bit overdone when he writes in his review, "...there are moments when it feels like a particularly high-end school play, with everyone shouting 'Avast!' and 'Ahoy!'"

Still, this adaption is completely worth seeing. Take a look at the trailer below and until next week, we'll MEAT at the movies!
