Longtime New York Daycare Allegedly Abuses Kids in Hudson Valley, More Victims Likely

On Thursday, New York State Police in Livingston announced an investigation into alleged child abuse at a daycare in Columbia County
New York State Police say they are investigating allegations of child abuse at the Columbia Children’s Center located on 142 Union Turnpike in the town of Greenport.
Columbia Children’s Center is a daycare and preschool for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age. It opened in 1982 and has a dedicated, experienced staff, many for more than 20 years, according to the daycare's Facebook.
Columbia Children’s Center is licensed by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services for 66 children. The curriculum includes intellectual, social, emotional and physical development, school officials say.
Police did not go into any details about the child abuse allegations but believe there may be more victims.
