A truck crashed into the Dunkin' early Thursday morning in Pine Bush, New York.

First responders were extremely busy in Orange County, NY over the last couple of days after numerous accidents all happened within hours of each other leading to services being stretched thin.

Truck Drives Thu Dunkin' in Pine Bush, New York

The first incident was reported on Thursday, September 26th at approximately 1 a.m. when a call came in reporting that a vehicle had apparently crashed into the Dunkin' located at 2380 Route 52, in Pine Bush, NY. The report stated that a car drove into the recently renovated building and there was the possibility of someone being trapped inside. Multiple agencies responded to the scene including the Pine Bush Fire District and the Orange County Tech Rescue Team according to the Monticello Professional Firefighters Association Facebook page.

Once on the scene responders discovered that a pick-up truck had apparently left Route 52 and crashed into the building causing heavy damage. According to witnesses at the scene, the building was damaged so badly that first responders were fearful that the building might collapse. The accident is under investigation and as more information becomes available we will update this article.

It's unclear what caused the truck to leave the roadway or if anyone sustained any injuries in the crash. It took approximately three hours for responders to clear the crash and return to service. The accident is under investigation and as more information becomes available we will update this article.

Crash Shuts Down Route 17 in Orange County, New York

The second incident happened in the early morning hours of Thursday after a crash between a car and a tractor-trailer left at least one person dead. Police have yet to comment, but reports say the accident may have been caused during a police chase, with a car going the wrong way on Route 17, eastbound in the westbound lanes.
