2027 Banana Ball Schedule Release

The 2027 Banana Ball schedule is officially out, and for those of us in the New York metro area, or even those willing to travel to take in the fast-paced kooky and wacky baseball experience, this is always an exciting time.

There are a few significant changes ahead of the 2027 season; most notably, the league announcing they'd soon expand to play games in Mexico and Canada, and the implementation of a mid-season tournament, the Banana Ball Open, scheduled to be played at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Florida in April.

For 2027, Banana Ball will span 74 cities, 79 stadiums, and include more than 80 games in total. Here's what we're looking at for NY/NJ games next season:

May 28th and 29th: Savannah Bananas vs. Firefighters at Yankee Stadium, Bronx
May 29th and 30th: Texas Tailgaters vs. Indianapolis Clowns at Doubleday Field, Cooperstown
June 10th and 11th: Firefighters vs. Texas Tailgaters, Sahlen Field, Buffalo
July 2nd and 3rd: Texas Tailgaters vs. Loco Beach Coconuts, ESL Ballpark, Rochester
July 9th and 10th: Loco Beach Coconuts vs. Firefighters, Maimonides Park, Brooklyn
August 13th and 14th: Loco Beach Coconuts vs. Texas Tailgaters, ShoreTown Ballpark, Lakewood, NJ

How Does the Banana Ball Lottery Work?

The ticketing process for Banana Ball is much different than grabbing tickets for a standard ballgame, but this makes sense because this isn't your average ballgame.

Banana Ball uses a ticket lottery system where those interested in purchasing game tickets enter their information, which then gets verified, and finally there is a random drawing to purchase tickets for your selected city.

When the lottery is open, you select one city of interest and submit your entry. After the lottery closes, entries are randomly selected. If your entry is drawn, you’ll receive an email with instructions to purchase tickets during your assigned purchase window. Submitting a lottery entry does not guarantee tickets — all selections are made at random. When you join does not affect your chances.

The lottery for the 2027 season will close on 10/31/26 and then fans will hear about their ticket lottery status via email.

For those that may have missed the lottery process, or didn't get selected, there is a Fans First Marketplace that is encouraged, as third-party website issued tickets are not guaranteed for admission at the ballpark gates.
