Friday was pleasant and dry across the Hudson Valley, but meteorologists say that won't last too long.

Saturday is expected to start out mostly sunny with highs in the low 80s, but skies are expected to give way to clouds by late afternoon. A coastal storm is forecast to move near the region bringing potentially heavy rains and local flooding.

Of course, with the weather...nothing is set in stone. Some models are predicting torrential rains Saturday night and Sunday, while others are calling for much lighter precipitation amounts.

The rain is predicted to start Saturday evening and could be heavy at times. Sunday brings mostly cloudy skies and chance of thunderstorms. Heavy rainfall could effect the area by Sunday night with anywhere from three quarters of an inch to two inches expected.

Lows will only go down to the lower 70s.

If you're already hoping to see the Sun again, you might be quite disappointed. The cloudy skies and rain are predicted to hang around through early next week.
