Dover Man Arrested for Stealing Air Conditioners

State Police arrested a Dover man following an investigation into missing air conditioners.

In February New York State Police from Dover Plains were dispatched to investigate the burglary of a shed on Holsapple Road in the Town of Dover. After an investigation, police allege that 31-year-old Thomas C. Brown Jr., of the Town of Dover entered the shed and stole air conditioning units.

Brown was arrested and charged with 3rd-degree burglary, a class D Felony. He was arraigned in the Town of Amenia Court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash or $25,000 bond. He is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Dover Court at a later date.
