According to the National Weather Service, we could see snow moving into the Hudson Valley Friday night through Saturday afternoon, before it mixes with, and eventually changes over to, rain.

While no accumulation amounts have been mentioned, this could cause messy, if not potentially dangerous driving conditions on Saturday afternoon. The forecast also calls for unseasonably warm weather on Sunday

As a result, the Bardavon has decided to move the Hudson Valley Philharmonic’s special holiday performance of Handel’s 'Messiah', with guest conductor Christine Howlett, from this Saturday at 2 pm to Sunday at 2.

This performance is not to be missed. The Hudson Valley Philharmonic will be joined by guest vocalists from Cappella Festiva for a total of 100 instrumentalists and singers on the Bardavon stage. The audience will be encouraged to sing along. Plus, a pre-concert talk will be held with Maestro Howlett and members of the orchestra an hour before the concert for all ticket-holders.

All Saturday tickets will be honored on Sunday. For more details, or if you have any question about this show or upcoming shows at the Bardavon, call the Bardavon Box office at 845-473-2072.
