There's a lot to worry about for those involved in making 'Krampus.' The horror/Christmas movie is not only not a popular themed movie but its also a Christmas movie released in December which has been a curse in the past.

A handful of movies to keep you busy and away from the family if that's what you're into for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. We've got the great, "Creed," the good, "The Good Dinosaur," and the ugly, "Victor Frankenstein." Starting off at the top it's the new Rocky Balboa movie, kind of...

It's the battle of the classics this weekend in the box office. Hopefully what that means for us movie-goers is the start of a decent movie release season. Which will be top this weekend, the new James Bond flick Spectre or The Peanuts Movie?

For this Halloween weekend I wish I could say we're getting a treat. Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse and Burnt look to be much more like a trick.

Lately it seems like studios are just pumping out movies to hit some sort of quota. Who makes these decisions? Stop with the Rock the Kasbah Bill Murray and give us something even as small as another Zombieland.

You know its about half way though October when there is more than one spooky or horror movie out each week for the next few weeks. And of course Goosebumps; logically when else would that be released?

Not every weekend of new movies will be amazing. Out of the two in wide release expect only one to 'wow' you; at least in a good way. This weekend you have Pan and Steve Jobs as the options.

It's not often when both new releases are something to look forward to. With both The Martian and Sicario receiving praise, it'll be hard to choose which one to go see. We should all welcome that dilemma.
