A handful of movies to keep you busy and away from the family if that's what you're into for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. We've got the great, "Creed," the good, "The Good Dinosaur," and the ugly, "Victor Frankenstein."

Starting off at the top it's the new Rocky Balboa movie, kind of. "Creed" follows the son of rival turned friend Apollo Creed and the path he takes to follow his father's footsteps with the coaching of none other then Rocky himself. With a Rotten Tomatoes rating of an amazingly fresh 94%, critics are calling this a worthy seventh installment. Some say Stallone puts out an award-winning performance and that the energy from Michael B. Jordan keeps this movie really going.

Next, "The Good Dinosaur" which I must say seems straight up adorable. Pixar creates a world where the dinosaurs survived to live along side humans because the asteroid never hit Earth. When a dinosaur named Arlo befriends a human, they travel the land and accomplish things together that they never thought possible, including getting over some fears. With an 85% on Rotten Tomatoes this one is defiantly going to please the kids, at whatever age. Critics are saying Pixar's animation is gorgeous as usual and hits all the important story-line points that should be in a kids movie.

Lastly, the ugly, and not just because its about Frankenstein. "Victor Frankenstein" stars James McAvoy as Frankenstein and Daniel Radcliffe as Igor. The usual story of the search for immortality and the creation of the monster is there but there is also a bit of a change in the Igor we have now come to expect. Igor isn't a creepy subject of Frankenstein but a friend who must help Frankenstein avoid the madness that creeps up on him after the creation of the monster. This one only has a rating of 17% on Rotten Tomatoes. Critics are saying that it dips a bit too far away from the traditional version and more than one critics has recommended to skip this one over all and go back and watch Mel Brook's "Young Frankenstein" again.

Take a look at the trailers below, and as always until next week, we'll MEAT at the movies!
