If stalker guys and possessed grandmas are the creepiness you're looking for then you and this weekend's new releases are a perfect match. With the two mystery & suspense flicks The Perfect Guy and The Visit out in wide release we have definitely gotten out of the family oriented movies of the summer and have switched to appease a whole different audience.

From this week's new box office, we learn from one movie that you're never too old to go on an adventure. Then from the other, something we already knew and that's the fact that some movies should never be rebooted. A Walk in the Woods and The Transporter Refueled are the two choices for new movies this week.

It's the end of summer, kids are going back to school, and movies are just okay; even if an ex-James Bond is involved. Out this weekend is mystery-suspense action flick No Escape and drama We Are Your Friends.

Move over Straight Outta Compton, it's the weekend of action. Now don't expect American Ultra or Hitman: Agent 47 to be better, at all, just different and with explosions and gun fire. Actually, maybe no different all.

The story of one of the most controversial music group of all time has turned into one of the most anticipated movies of the summer. A fairly unknown cast brings the legends of N.W.A. to the big screen with Straight Outta Compton. Also new to the big screen, a 1960s TV show made feature-length, The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

We're experiencing a quick movie rotation this summer in the theaters with four new flicks out this week. Most of them actually have decent ratings. So which are you going to see this weekend: Shaun the Sheep, The Gift, Ricki and the Flash or Fantastic Four.

Adding to the Marvel movie universe before DC gets their stuff together, a movie about an ant is released - er, a movie about a man that can shrink to the size of an ant actually. And of course the highly anticipated Amy Schumer feature film 'Trainwreck.'

It doesn't matter if you're a kid or an adult, chances are you've laughed at the lovable yellow minions from the 'Despicable Me' movies. Maybe you've thought that they should get their own movie. If you're that person, wait no more 'Minions' is out!

Without expecting much out of the new movies to the box office this mid-week, they may not be such a disappointment. Within the shadow of Jurassic World emerges the start of the new 'Terminator' trilogy, 'Terminator Genisys' and the well oiled sequel, 'Magic Mike XXL.'

Sometimes you have to wonder, is it worth it to think about other movies when you know one will dominate all others even if its not as good? Sometimes you have to wonder how much potty humor you can take. Fortunately, Ted 2 exists to test the boundaries.
