Usually only available to diehard fans in the Southeast, Half Time is now one of the only places in our area where you can get beer from Lazy Magnolia Missippi Brewery. We had a chance to speak with Leslie and Mark Henderson from Lazy Magnolia back in November when we sampled their Southern Pecan.  They discussed their 9 years of brewing in Mississippi as wll as their uniquet lineup of beers, including Southern Hops’pitality.  Based on a traditional IPA, Lazy Magnolia adds a bit of Southern complexity to form a unique spin on the style. The aroma is a bold citrus burst on the front end with hints of tropical fruits such as grapefruit, orange and mango in the finish. Lazy Magnolia is brewed for the sweltering Southern temperatures so you'll notice a light straw color and a crisp, smooth finish. With an alcohol content at 6% ABV  and a very hoppy 60 IBUs, Southern Hops’pitality is breaking new ground for Lazy Magnolia and the Magnolia State.
