WPDH Soundcheck: Happy Birthday Mr. Seger

This week on the WPDH Soundcheck we celebrate Bob Seger's birthday by playing him "live" along with Peter Gabriel and The Scorpions.  Sunday night at 10pm on 101.5 WPDH and the WPDH app.

Born Robert Clark Seger on May 6th, 1945 (that would make him 73) in Michigan, Bob was a local rock star in the Detroit area with bands, "The Decibels" back in 1961 which was his first band."Bob Seger and the Last Heard" and "The Bob Seger System" he recorded and performed with these two bands throughout the 60's.  In 1973 he put together "The Silver Bullet Band" with a group of local Detroit based musicians and in 1976 achieved national breakout with the album "Night Moves" .His last studio album "I Knew You When" was released last year on November 17th.
