Is there a shortage on sponges in New York State? Has everyone started their spring cleaning? Or is there another reason that the shelves are bare?

Have you noticed that your favorite tequila just hasn't been on the shelf at the liquor store? I found out what is going on with the tequila shortage in the Hudson Valley, still happening after one year. Can't they just make more?
