Drummer Frankie Banali has confirmed that 'American Idol' finalist James Durbin has been selected as Quiet Riot's new frontman.

After five months on the job, singer Seann Nicols has parted ways with Quiet Riot.

Quiet Riot have announced plans to record a new album, tour and release a new video with Seann Nicols as their new vocalist.

Singer Kevin Dubrow of Quiet Riot was born on this day (Oct. 29, 1955). He would have been 60 today. Sadly, Kevin died of an accidental cocaine overdose in 2007.
