Rainy Week Ahead for the Hudson Valley
Heavy rain is expected Sunday night for the area, and if forecasters are right, the wet weather will be sticking around for while.
Temperatures are only expected to reach about 70 on Monday and Tuesday, which will provide a nice break from the heatwave the region experienced last week. There is a chance for showers and thunderstorms both days however, particularly in the afternoon.
Wednesday and Thursday should be partly cloudy, with highs in the lower 80s. The chance for rain returns Thursday night into Friday though.
Flood advisories could go into effect for some parts of the area this week as the ground is already pretty saturated.
Lows will stay in the lower to mid 60s thought the week which is normal for this time of year.
Make sure to have an umbrella nearby. Have a great week!
