It's an alphabet theme on My Lost treasure. We started with a week of songs that begin with the letter A, then a week of Bs, and so on and so on. Kind of like the Letter Game that we play every day on The Boris and Robyn Show. Today we are wrapping up the R songs with a classic from Aretha Franklin.

Today's lost treasure was actually written by Otis Redding. And his version includes some stellar musicians such as Booker T. Jones, Isaac Hayes, Steve Cropper, Donald "Duck" Dunn, and a slew of others. I am, however, going to play Aretha Franklin's cover. It's awesome, and when you hear it you know why she has the name The Queen of Soul. She earned it.

Tomorrow we'll kick off a week of S songs. Got one you'd like to hear? Or maybe a T song. Any song for that matter. Let me know at robyn@wpdh.com or find me on facebook. Thanks!
