This week there are two movies out worth looking into, 'Godzilla' and 'Million Dollar Arm.' That big lizard one though, that one will be the big one this weekend.

Everyone knows about Godzilla, the big radioactive lizard that terrorizes cities. This new movie looks to be the best Godzilla movie to date. I don't want to put down 'Godzilla' from 1998, I did like that one, I own it on VHS, but this year's 'Godzilla' looks far too awesome. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, the dude from 'Kick-Ass,' plays a Navy bomb expert who goes to Japan to help out his father, Bryan Cranston a.k.a. Walter White a.k.a. Heisenberg a.k.a. the dad from Malcolm in the Middle (I could go on, it's like I'm introducing a rapper). Anyway, Godzilla rises from the waters to battle other huge monsters and leave nothing but destruction between Japan and San Francisco. I'm going to put this one out there and say that I think this movie will be one of the top movies of the year. Take it or leave it but this is what I'm seeing this weekend.

The second movie out this weekend worth checking out is the based-on-a-true-story-movie of the week, 'Million Dollar Arm' with Jon Hamm, best known for being Don Draper in Mad Men. This one is more of a family movie with a moral at the end, that moral being about teamwork and family. Draper plays a sports agent trying to find the next best baseball pitcher in order to save his own career. He finds a couple of cricket playing teens who know nothing about baseball or the American life but can throw a mean pitch. Like I said, this one isn't going to be on top, but it's something to take the family out to when your family won't go see 'Godzilla' with you.

There are still a bunch of movies yet to be released that I'm excited about, a few of them still in this month, it's going to be a good summer! Until next week, we’ll MEAT at the movies!
