Jean-Claude Van Damme Returning To ‘Kickboxer’

Jean-Claude Van Damme is returning to 'Kickboxer', which is one of the movies that helped launch his career.

He is currently working out the final details to become part of the cast, for the franchise remake. The film stars David Bautista (Gaurdians of the Galaxy), and Alain Moussi (X-Men: Days of Future Past). The film will be directed by John Stockwell.

In this remake, Van Damme will not be playing the student, but rather the master. He is replacing Thai action star Tony Jaa, who had to drop out due to a scheduling conflict.

Van Damme will play the new version of Master Chow, who teaches his student the art of the kick.
