Additional Information

In middle school Gary Siegel noticed words pouring out of his head. In the 70’s he hung out with poets and playied music for them in a little-known form called a Choreopoem. In the 80’s he saw Allan Ginsberg and William Burroughs but his poetry simmered until 2008 when a fabulous sky by a lighthouse lit up his imagination. As an active member of the Hudson Valley poetry scene he has read publicly almost every poem he writes. As founder of the Kingston branch of the Poetry Brothel he has coordinated poetry performances ripe with music, spectacle and poetics. Tonight he is happy to present In the Cradle of Silence, his first full throttle collection.
