My Lost Treasure: New Riders of the Purple Sage

It's an alphabet theme on My Lost Treasure. We started with a week of songs that begin with the letter A, then a week of Bs, and so on and so on. Kind of like the Letter Game that we play every day on The Boris and Robyn Show. This weekend we are playing P songs. Today's P song was a request from Mickey, and it's the perfect request for 4/20.

My love for The New Riders of the Purple Sage goes way back. It was my sister Iris that originally got me into this band. Once I discovered them, there was no going back.  Their NRPS album is still on my list of desert island discs. But today's song is the title cut to another great New Riders album. And it starts with a P, so it fits our theme.  It is also a fun little song, and I am singing along to it right now.
