My Lost Treasure: New Riders of the Purple Sage

I have a lot of reasons to thank my big sister.  First of all, she's probably the best sister and friend anybody could ever ask for.  She's caring, she's a great mom, wife, and grandmother.  She's a lot of fun, too.  And she introduced me to some great music.

My sister turned me on to the New Riders when I was still in high school.  The NRPS album is still one of my all time favorites, and it features Jerry Garcia on pedal steel guitar.  What's not to love?

And, we're doing a transportation theme...we've been concentrating on trains this week.  Today's pick is a great train song off of this great album.  Thanks to my sister Iris.  Now I just have to get her to move closer to me...
