My Lost Treasure: The New Riders

The current theme on My Lost Treasure is color.  As many of you know, we had a house fire a couple of weeks ago.  It's been a pretty serious time for us, but we're now headed in a good direction.  We are all okay, the pets are fine, and the clean up is going well.  So far.

So, I thought I would lighten the mood a bit for today.  It's the weekend, we are celebrating a friend's birthday later, and we need a break.  I chose today's lost treasure because it's funny and fun.  I have been a fan of The New Riders of the Purple Sage for years.  Their white album with Jerry Garcia on pedal steel is one of my desert island discs.  Today's song is not from that album, but it is still a good one.
