Kraft issued a voluntary recall of 242,000 cases of their Macaroni and Cheese, because some boxes may contain metal.

The recalled product includes the 7.25-ounce box of the original flavor of mac and cheese with the best when used by dates of Sept. 18, 2015 through Oct. 11, 2015 and the code C2 directly below the date on each individual box, as reported by PopSugar. It was sold in the following configurations:

  • Single 7.25-ounce box, original flavor
  • 3-pack box of 7.25-ounce boxes, original flavor
  • 4-pack shrink wrap of 7.25-ounce boxes, original flavor
  • 5-pack shrink wrap of 7.25-ounce boxes, original flavor

There has been no injuries reported so far. the boxes can be returned to the stores for a refund or exchange.
