Newburgh Brewing Company stopped by the Boris & Robyn Show to show off a beer that's a unique hybrid of two classic styles.

Brewmaster Chris Basso was eager to have us taste Newburgh's ICA, or India Cream Ale. It's a hopped up, stronger version of the very popular Newburgh Cream Ale. According to Chris, the year-round offering uses the same grains as the cream ale in greater amounts, as to increase the ABV to just over 6%.

Some newer varieties of hops are also used, including an experimental one, that gives the ICA a nice bitterness without being too aggressive.

The result is a flavorful, hoppy beer with lots of body that ends in a satisfying malt finish. Here are Chris and Brewery president, Paul Halayko, to explain more about this unique beer:
