Warrant Wednesday: Greene County Man Wanted For Criminial Obstruction of Breathing and Assault

Here are this week’s outstanding warrants from the New York State Police. They ask all of us to help by spreading the word. The New York State Police post these warrants on their Facebook page and, while we have highlighted an individual here, you can see all of this week's outstanding warrants below.

New York State Police Troop F, Catskills, are looking for 23-year-old Cory M. Thompson for criminal mischief 4th degree, criminal obstruction of breathing, and assault 3rd degree. According to the New York State Police, Thompson is wanted for physically attacking his girlfriend by punching her in the face and body, strangling her by grabbing her by the throat and slapping her face while sitting in a vehicle. Thompson then took her phone and threw it out of the vehicle while it was in motion. The warrant was issued by the Town of Cairo court.
