My Lost Treasure: The Police

Our theme right now on My Lost Treasure is the sky and beyond.  It is a pretty broad theme that includes not only the sky, but also the sun and the moon, the stars, planets, clouds, and space.

You have no doubt heard the story about the time The Police played at The Chance in Poughkeepsie.  You haven't heard the story?  it goes something like this.  It was October in 1978.  A fairly new band called The Police were going to be playing at The Chance.  There was a freak snow storm.  Only seven people showed up that night for what was a great show.  Ring a bell?  I know at least one of the people that was there.  My friend Stan.  He has told the story a few times.  Or a few hundred times.
