We are working on the theme of guys names right now on My Lost Treasure.  Today's pick does not mention a guy's name in the title, but it does in the lyrics.  A real guy.  A real guy with a local connection.

Timothy Leary is well known for his views on LSD and other psychedelic drugs.  He coined the phrase turn on, tune in, drop out.  But he also lived in a mansion in Millbrook in the 1960s.  I have a lot of friends in Millbrook, and a few of them have actually lived on the Hitchcock Estate, where Timothy Leary and his associates lived in the early to mid 60s.  They left because they got raided repeatedly by the F.B.I.  Timothy Leary, not my friends.  Anyway,  I've been on that estate, and it's pretty cool to think about the things that must have happened there.

Today's pick is one of my favorites from The Moody Blues, and it talks about Timothy Leary.  He wasn't actually dead when they wrote the song.  He is now.  On that note, here's today's lost treasure.
