My Lost Treasure: The Doors

The current theme on My Lost Treasure is places.  Cities, towns, states, countries, and the like.  Yesterday we were in Alabama with The Grateful Dead, today we are staying in Alabama, but this time it is with The Doors.

Today's song is actually an old timey German drinking song, covered perfectly by The Doors.  When it's on, I can't help singing along.  It's the perfect way to kick off the weekend.  This one goes out to my friend Merrilee Sweet in Dallas, Texas.  It was always one of her favorites.  It's also for Fireman Mike and Newsman John Clark.  And for Dan the Man, too.  I guess a lot of my friends love this song.
