My Lost Treasure: The Byrds

Airplanes...that's what were concentrating on right now on My Lost Treasure.  It's all part of a transportation theme.  When I asked for suggestions I got more than a few for this one.

I got to meet Roger McGuinn many, many years ago when I was a part timer filling in on the afternoon shift.  Roger McGuinn was in town for a show, and he was coming in for an interview.  I was young, inexperienced, and knew nothing about interviewing.  But I knew and loved The Byrds.  I had that going for me.  Roger was awesome, and it went well.  Okay, as well as could be expected.

I did ask him about today's song.  A lot of people thought it was about being high on drugs.  He said...nope...it was about being on a plane.  That make it perfect for our theme!  And it's a great song!
