My Lost Treasure: R.E.M.

It is a food and drink theme on My Lost Treasure, and today I am featuring a song that has a title that sounds like a delicious drink from my childhood.  Even if that is not what they meant in the song.  From what I understand the song is actually about agent orange.  But let's just go with the Orange Crush thing.

When I was a kid there was rarely soda in our fridge.  Maybe if we were having a party, but as a rule, we did not have soda in the house.  Which was why it was an extra special treat when we did get to have some.  And Orange Crush was my all time favorite.  Looking back, I am happy now that I did not grow up putting sugary soda into my body, but at the time it seemed very unfair.  Thanks Mom and Dad, for being mean when it came to soda.  In the end, it's a good thing.

We just have a few more food and drink songs to get to, and then our theme will be old and/or new.  because with the new year, it's out with the old and in with the new.  Any ideas?  Let me know.  Thanks!
