My Lost Treasure: Peter Gabriel

The theme right now on My Lost Treasure is in and out.  And today it is one of my favorite "in" songs.  It's not by a local guy, but read on to find out why it feels like it is.

I love playing Peter Gabriel songs.  Not only is he a great musician, but there is also that local angle which I referred to above..  Peter’s bass player is Tony Levin.  Tony lives right here in the Hudson Valley, in Kingston.  And his wife used to be a radio personality in Albany.  And the one time that I saw Peter Gabriel in concert is was right here in Poughkeepsie at the Mid Hudson Civic Center.  What could be more local than that?
