My Lost Treasure: Leon Russell

We're STILL playing train songs...and it's just a sub theme of our transportation theme.  I have a feeling we could do a whole summer of train songs, maybe more.  We won't though.  We still have to get to planes, automobiles, bikes, boats, etc.

Leon Russell is an amazing songwriter, musician, and performer.  I remember when my sister first got Leon's album Hank Wilson's Back.  It's a mix of traditional and traditional country songs.  I loved that album way back then, and I picked it up on cd about five or six years ago.  It's once again one of my favorite albums.

Today's train song is the first song on the Hank Wilson's Back album.  It was also the song Leon Russell opened his show with when I saw him on the Poughkeepsie waterfront back in the 90s with Little Feat...what a show that was.  Anyway, enjoy this one from Leon Russell...
